Caribbean all inclusive resorts in floridas - Iberostar's Top 3

Lightning Pool, Cuba

If you are looking for the best Caribbean all inclusive resorts in floridas, this post will be over viewing Iberostar's top 3 Caribbean all inclusive resorts in floridas. Iberostar is the leader in building and operating all inclusive resorts in floridas in the Caribbean.

If you have read my ranking of the top 10 Caribbean all inclusive adults only resorts you know that Iberostar is the premiere all inclusive hotel operator in the world, with 3 resorts in the top 10. Most people from the U.S. have heard of Sandals or Couples resorts but not Iberostar. Iberostar operates over 100 all inclusive resorts in floridas around the world on the best beaches in the world. If you would like to see what hotels they operate in the Caribbean, I have ranked all of Iberostar's Caribbean resorts here based on reviews.

Here I will be giving you an overview of Iberostar's top 3 Caribbean resorts which are adults only. Awhile back Iberostar decided to build some over the top high end luxury adults only all inclusive resorts in floridas. They call these their "Grand" hotels and built one in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, one in Montego Bay, Jamaica and one in Playa Paraiso (Cancun) Mexico. All 3 are now among the very elite in luxury all inclusive resorts in floridas in the entire Caribbean. They are as follows, Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso - Cancun, Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro - Punta Cana, Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall - Montego Bay.

Iberostar Rose Hall Beach, Montego Bay, Jamaica 2011

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is located just 22km east of Montego Bay, Jamaica right on a spectacular beach. The Grand Rose Hall has a colonial style and boasts 295 suites, most with ocean views. The suites all come with king sized beds, flat screen televisions and jetted tubs. If you enjoy food, the Grand Rose Hall has 5 restaurants to indulge yourself with. There is a gourmet restaurant, a buffet and Japanese and Italian themed restaurants. In the evenings you can enjoy disco or live entertainment. The Grand Rose Hall just made it in the top 10 list of best all inclusive adults only resorts of the Caribbean.

Moving up in the rankings is Punta Cana'a Grand Hotel Bavaro. Located near the airport, this is without question the highest rated all inclusive adults only resort in the Dominican Republic and ranked number 8 in the Caribbean overall. The grounds at the Grand Hotel Bavaro are a little more spread out than Rose Hall, there's even a life sized sail boat in the pool! This is a stunning resort where wind surfing and golf are major draws. There is a spa and casino on site and the pools are extend throughout the grounds. The Grand Hotel Bavaro is a popular wedding and honeymoon destination, what a way to start a marriage off right.

IBEROSTAR Grand Beach Front

Now we come to the Grand Hotel Paraiso ranked number 5 in the Caribbean overall, yet Trip Advisor gave this hotel their Traveler's Choice Award as the number one top all inclusive resorts in florida in the world! While I have to say on my rankings there were actually 4 resorts that based on reviews narrowly edged out the Grand Hotel Paraiso, either way this is an amazing resort. This hotel looks like a palace for a King, it is just plain stunning! With the amazing style and architecture along with being waited on by your personal butler, you will feel like royalty. The Grand Hotel Paraiso has four a la carte restaurants and themed restaurants serving Japanese and Italian cuisine.

The beauty of the Iberostar Grand hotels is that they are adults only. If you want to get away from the kids or plan a wedding or honeymoon, these Grand hotels will pamper you in luxury and enable you to relax and unwind like nothing else.

Iberostar Rose Hall Suites

Most travel websites like Expedia don't carry all of the Iberostar resorts so here is a link to their homepage where you can check their rates and availability, be sure to bookmark it as you are doing your vacation research for future reference. I also have a banner link on the right hand side of the screen that will take you to their home page as well. Check out their video below to get a better look at these amazing resorts!

As you can see, you really can't go wrong with any of these 3 Iberostar resorts. They are among the top 10 out of over 200 all inclusive resorts in floridas in the entire Caribbean and at this cream of the crop level it is really splitting hairs to rank them.

I hope this look at Iberostar's top 3 all inclusive adults only Caribbean resorts helps you to plan your best Caribbean vacation ever!

Florida Mall reopens revamped Disney Store

One of the most popular stores in Florida Mall is about to become even more of a tourist attraction, as the Disney Store reopened on August 24 with the latest high tech “immersive experiences” for customers, including a Disney Princess Castle with Magic Mirror, Translucent Magical Trees, Disney●Pixar CARS-branded Ridemakerz custom toy car building experience and the Disney Store Theatre.

Customers already know that the Disney Store is the “go-to” place for Disney-related products without making an actual trip to Disney World, and the newly-designed Disney Store location at Florida Mall has a bit more of a local feel to it, with a skyline bordering the store featuring local landmarks such as the Walt Disney World Resort, the fountain at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando and the natural beauty of the Florida Everglades.

Other new activities and attractions at the interactive “Mickey Mouskercize” and “Dance Like a Robot” clips, new Disney Channel original music videos and previews of the new Disney Muppets Movie trailer. By the end of 2011, the new concept Disney Stores will be in 16 major cities in North America and eight countries.

Sandals Negril Beach Resort and Spa - Save 65% + 1 Night Free!!

P1170004-The main pool at Sandals, Negril

The Sandals Negril Beach Resort and Spa ranks #4 among Sandals chain of all inclusive hotels. Only 3 Sandals resorts rank higher than Sandals Negril Beach Resort and Spa based on customer reviews.

If you have read my post ranking Sandals resorts based on reviews you know that the Sandals Negril Beach Resort and Spa is their #4 ranked resort. Honestly, after the Royal Plantation the next 5 resorts in the Sandals chain are very closely ranked, with some a virtual tie which requires some hair splitting to get a ranking.

Sandals Negril is located on Negril's famous 7 Mile beach and is arguably Sandals most popular resort. One great feature of Sandals Negril is their Swim-Up Suites where your patio opens directly onto the....pool? Having just returned from a Caribbean vacation with a swim up suite on the beach I can say that it is awesome to be able to just open your door in the morning and step off your patio onto the sand and take a morning swim in the crystal clear warm Caribbean waters. I am not a pool guy, as I said before, I don't know why people go to the Caribbean and swim in a pool, you might as well go to Arizona. Anyway, if you like pools, the swim-up suite is pretty sweet.

P1220079-The beach at Sandals, Negril

Now the Millionaire Honeymoon Suite is very luxurious. You get your own mini pool with a totally secluded private patio area, it's like staying in a private home, you don't have to see another guest if that's what you want. If you are planning a honeymoon, this suite would be a dream. Both the Swim-Up Suite and the Millionaire Honeymoon Suite come with your personal butler service so you never have to leave the privacy of your suite if you don't want to.

P1150050-The main pool at Sandals, Negril where we stayed

Sandals Negril Beach Resort and Spa has 6 gourmet restaurants to give you a good variety of meals to choose from as part of your all inclusive package. There's the Bayside Restaurant, Dino's restaurant, The Sundowner, Kimonos, Barefoot By The Sea, Sandals Cafe and Bella Napoli Pizzaria. Most all of these restaurants are right on the waters edge so you can enjoy incredible views of the beach or sunset while you dine. Of course there are several bars including a swim - up bar to enjoy as well.

The boys of the bar

As with other Sandals resorts, the activity options are endless. There's kayaking, wind surfing, sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, skiing, tennis, volleyball, billiards, and of course the Red Lane Spa. As an option you can also have your own private cabana poolside with your own attendant to take care of your every need and make you feel like royalty.

Right now Sandals is offering some incredible discounts at the Negril Beach Resort and Spa such as...

- Companion flies free!
- Save up to 65%!
- Up to one night free!
- $250 Red Lane Spa credit!

You can go to their website to find out more about how you can Get 1 Night Free plus Save up to 65% and a $250 Red Lane Spa Credit at Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa.

In terms of amenities, location and ratings, the luxurious Negril Beach Resort and Spa is an overall exceptional Sandals resort. Negril is a wonderful laid back town that also offers some nightlife and shopping as well should you care to venture out of your suite.

I hope this overview of Sandals Negril Beach Resort and Spa helps you to plan your best Caribbean vacation ever!

List of the Walt Disney Characters

If there is one thing that can be said Walt Disney World, it’s that the resort is full of character—and characters. From character dining to thrill rides to photo opportunities throughout the park, Disney relies on its characters to give guests the full experience of founder Walt Disney’s cinematic vision. The vast majority of Walt Disney characters found at the resorts and parks originated with Disney films or television shows; in some cases Disney has bought the rights to license characters from popular film franchises such as Star Wars and The Muppet Show. And then there are characters—like Epcot’s Figment—that were created specifically for a ride.

The following list of Walt Disney Characters shows the wide variety of famous faces that have appeared in various parts of Walt Disney World in recent years. As some characters are phased out, new ones are added, so it is never the same experience twice at the Walt Disney World resort:

New Baby Eland Antelope at Busch Gardens

The newest addition to Busch Gardens’ Serengeti Plain was born: a female eland calf. Weighing in at 50 pounds, this girl will not stay little for long. Eland are the largest of the antelope species, with adult females weighing around 1,000 lbs.

Even with their bulky stature, eland antelope have a great adaptation: they can jump 8-10 feet straight up in the air from a standing position.

Both males and females characteristically have thick, spiral horns, which can reach lengths of 3-4 feet. But to protect the mother, the calf doesn’t have horns at birth; her full set will grow in after about two years.

The Serengeti Plain’s eland herd now numbers 11 antelope, with this calf being the second to be born this season. The other female calf, which was born just over a month ago on July 17, is already twice her size.

Guests can see the eland and all of the other animals on the 65-acre free-roaming Serengeti Plain via the park’s train or by booking a Serengeti Safari experience at www.buschgardens.com or by calling 1-888-800-5447.

Sandals Carlyle Inn is the third ranked resort among the Sandals hotel chain based on reviews. Here I will be taking a look at Sandals Carlyle Inn in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The Sandals Carlyle Inn is located in Montego Bay, Jamaica and is the smallest of the Sandals resorts. If you have read my ranking of Sandals resorts you know that of the 13 hotels in the Sandals chain, the Carlyle Inn ranks number 3 in customer satisfaction behind only the Royal Plantation and Whitehouse resorts.

Sandals likens the intimacy of this small resort to more of a bed and breakfast, rather than a resort hotel. With only 52 rooms, the Carlyle Inn does have a sort of boutique, bed and breakfast feel to it. Enhancing the personal touch, the penthouse suites come with personal butler service to take care of your every need.

Sandals montego Bay beach

The rooms start with the Seaside Deluxe Room at $146US per person per night and go up to the Carlyle Club Ocean View Penthouse with the fore mentioned butler service at $199 per person per night.

For dining, the Carlyle Inn has 3 restaurants to choose from, The Bay Window, The Carlyle and Nibbles. This makes 17 restaurants available to choose from as well as 12 pools, 10 whirlpools and 10 bars. To make things even easier, Sandals provides free transportation between the resorts so you might not even need to rent a car.

Sandals Whitehouse - Save 65% + 1 Night Free!!

PC270085a-Sandals White House, Jamaica as seen from a boat

Sandals Whitehouse hotel is Sandals number 2 resort based on reviews from travelers who have stayed at each of the Sandals resorts. Sandals Whitehouse is second only to the Royal Plantation.

If you have read my rankings of the Sandals resorts based on reviews, you would see that the Sandals Whitehouse hotel is one of the highest rated hotels in the Sandals chain, only the Royal Plantation is rated higher. But you have to remember that the Royal Plantation is a boutique all suite hotel where each suite comes with a butler, how can you top that?

Sandals Whitehouse is unique in that it is set in a rather secluded setting, far from the crowded resort areas. Whereas most hotels set side by side up and down the best beaches, Sandals Whitehouse has a spectacular 2 mile beach all to itself! The property is nestled on a 500 acre wilderness preserve which means there is nothing else around for miles, talk about getting away from it all. This a a resort to go to if you want to thoroughly decompress from your busy life. If you need to have some city with nightclubs and shopping, Whitehouse may not be for you.

Sandals Royal Bahamian

Sandals Whitehouse is a beautiful resort with architecture that resembles European style so you get a great combination of a beautiful classy resort set on a spectacularly beautiful white sand beach. All the suites and rooms are right on the beach by the way so you get great views wherever you stay.

The rooms start with French Deluxe rooms at $193 per person per night and go up to the One Bedroom Honeymoon Beachfront Suite at $448 per person per night. The suites come with a personal butler assigned to your room to cater to your every whim.

Even though Sandals Whitehouse isn't near a town with restaurants to eat at, the resort has 7 excellent gourmet eateries for you to choose from, all part of your all inclusive package of course. There is Giuseppe's which provides Italian food to go along with the European theme of the resort. There's Cafe de Paris which serves, you guessed it, French cuisine, mostly pastries. Eleanor's, The Bayside, Bluefield Beach Club and Neptune's all offer a wide variety of cuisines from around the world to enhance the European flavor of Whitehouse.

PC270005-The beach

You won't be at a loss for things to do at Sandals Whitehouse as there's canoeing, skiing, windsurfing, wake boarding, kayaking, sail boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, 4 swimming pools, 2 swim up bars, evening entertainment and Sandals famous Red Lane Spa! Or you may just want to lounge on the beach with your sweetie and a tropical drink melting in your hand.

What does 50 million LEGO® bricks plus an exciting educational curriculum equal?

What does 50 million LEGO® bricks plus an exciting educational curriculum equal? An educational field trip to LEGOLAND® Florida!

When LEGOLAND Florida opens its gates on October 15, the fun is just beginning with 50 rides, shows and attractions. From learning about how structures are made and what makes them strong in Tall Towers to Amazing Machines where students build their own amazing machine equipped with gears, levers, pulleys and motors, teachers can find just the right program to match what they’re learning about in the classroom.

“By showcasing math and science in a fun and interactive way at LEGOLAND Florida, we are aiming to change the way our students view these sometimes difficult subjects,” said Kim Isemann, Director of Sales and Marketing. “LEGOLAND Florida is a hands-on, interactive theme park and we think education should be no different.”

With seven educational programs incorporating STEM and the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, LEGOLAND Florida is dedicated to affordable extracurricular education. Each of the seven programs is seasonally priced and starts at $5 per student and includes a 45-minute educational session and a full-day at the park. Field trips start in November. Programs can be booked now by appropriate school officials by calling 1.877.350.LEGO.

Earlier this year, LEGOLAND announced a one-of-a-kind partnership with University of South Florida Polytechnic that offers every 2nd grade public school student in Polk County the chance to participate in one of the seven programs free of charge.

Also just announced is a complimentary Standard Annual Pass for all active Florida teachers. This Annual Pass allows Florida teachers to experience first-hand the benefit of adding a LEGOLAND field trip into their curriculum. Teachers must visit http://florida.legoland.com/freeteacherpass to register for the Pass and for redemption instructions. Teachers can receive their pass on specially designated Annual Pass Processing Days at LEGOLAND Florida, September 16, 17, 23 & 24 from 10a.m. – 5 p.m. and September 18 & 25 from noon – 5 p.m.

Field trip programs include:

* Funtastic Gears (Grades K-2): Students build a theme park ride using gears to alter the speed and direction.

Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy

After 971 shows, the limited-engagement show Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy is coming to end at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The final show will be September 5 at the Moroccan Palace Theater.

The groundbreaking theatrical, acrobatic and musical adventure opened December 3, 2010. For the past eight months Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy has resided in Busch Gardens’ majestic Moroccan Palace, performing multiple shows daily.

Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy was created and directed by renowned theatrical and circus impresario Neil Goldberg as a Broadway show. The show debuted at the Broadway Theatre in June 2008, and the original storyline remains intact in the Busch Gardens’ rendition of the show.

The lead character, Mother Nature, leads her “Jungle Boys” through an adventure of sound, light and movement as the vibrant jungle comes to life with award-winning costumes and an original score. Some highlights include artists trained at the State School of Contortion in Mongolia reenacting flexible lizards; rhythmic jugglers from Cuba and Russia portraying frogs, and aerialists from Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan soaring over the audience as graceful butterflies.

All this added to Cirque Dreams’ signature production style and whimsical audience participation has made the show a feast for the senses and a wild entertainment experience for Busch Gardens’ guests.

Over the next six weeks, the Moroccan Palace will be transformed for a special holiday show for 2011. And stay tuned for a special announcement on September 8 of the next cool show coming to Busch Gardens in 2012.
