In Barcelona, as in the rest of the state, is usually eaten later than in other European countries. The first meal of the day, breakfast is usually done between 9.00 and 11.00 am and usually is lighter than the rest of Europe: it is to what hotels call a "continental". Sit down for lunch between 14.00 and 15.00 and dinner between 21.00 and 22.00. Nevertheless, restaurant hours are adapted to the pace of working life, so you can eat from 13:00 pm to 15:00 pm in the evening, while dinner is usually served from 21.00 h until 23:30 h.
