Florida Film Festival April 8 – 17
Film buffs from around the state and around the country are invited to visit the 20th annual Florida Film Festival hosted by the Enzian Theater in Maitland, Florida—just a few miles north of downtown Orlando. This year’s event includes cutting-edge cinema; thought-provoking documentaries, special industry parties and unique food and wine experiences, and it all place over 10 days around Central Florida from April 8 – 17, 2011. The 20th annual Florida Film Festival will include 21 World Premieres, 4 North American Premieres, 7 US Premieres, and the East Coast debut of 39 films. Other in-screen events include a free outdoor screening of a Florida classic, The Yearling, and a brand-new Music Double Feature, plus a 50th anniversary salute to Breakfast at Tiffany’s. In addition to the classic films, there will be plenty of first run shorts, features and documentaries representing 25 countries. This is the once a year opportunity for Florida film buffs to see the works of up and coming and new directors, with Florida as the main focus.
