The Grand Bavaro is located on the pristine beach of Playa Bavaro and just a 30 minute drive from the airport. The "Grand" collection is Iberostars newest addition to their chain of over 100 resorts worldwide. They have two other resorts in the top 10 of the Caribbeans best all inclusive resorts in floridas, those being the Grand Hotel Paraiso in Cancun, Mexico and the Grand Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica. With over 200 couples only all inclusive resorts in floridas in the Caribbean, to have 3 resorts in the top 10 says a lot for the Iberostar brand. Iberostar is without a doubt the leader in building and operating the very best all inclusive resorts in floridas in the world.
As with the other Grand resorts, the Grand Bavaro has the look and feel of an exotic palace, the architecture is stunning. This hotel has 260 suites, 13 Ocean Front Grand Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. All the suites are luxuriously furnished and you can choose between a pool view room or an ocean view room. The bathrooms are marble and come complete with jetted tubs. Flat screen televisions and fully stocked mini bars are standard.
I am thinking there must be many guests from Japan and Italy staying at these resorts as the restaurants tend to all have Italian and Japanese cuisine choices. The Grand Hotel Bavaro has La Tentazione, Le Tourbillon, Hashira, Bella Vista, El Galeon and La Perla to choose from which gives you a nice variety of cuisines for every night of your stay.
