Planning a trip to St. Thomas and want to know which are the best resorts in St. Thomas? Here I will list the top 10 resorts in St. Thomas.

St. Thomas is the most traveled of the U.S. Virgin Islands and is also a top cruise ship destination. Charlotte Amalie is the capitol and largest city with a great old town tourist area where you can stroll through the old streets and enjoy shopping for souvenirs.

Magens Bay is considered the best beach on St. Thomas and some of the best resorts are located on this beach, but others are scattered around the island. The rugged geography of St. Thomas like the rest of the USVI makes large sandy beaches less available than say the Cayman Islands, Bahamas or Turks and Caicos. Yet, what good beaches they have is also where the best resorts are located.

Crystal Cove is the highest rated resort in St. Thomas, and by the rates, looks to be an excellent value as well. Keep in mind though, it is a condominium hotel so you won't get the room service and wait on you hand-and-foot experience of a large hotel. Sapphire Bay hotel is next door though for dining etc. What you will get is an affordable relaxing quiet vacation. If you want all the bells and whistles, the Ritz-Carlton would be the best choice in that category.
