Planning my anniversary trip for me and my wife this summer I am working through the top 10 list of best Caribbean islands to see which one we should travel to. Now for a look at the British Virgin Islands....
As the name British implies these islands are a territory of the United Kingdom. This immediately reminds me of my trips to England and how everything shuts down at noon for tea. I still remember being shoo'd out of the pubs so they could close the doors for their tea time. Cracks me up. So I am wondering do the swim-up bars close down for tea time?

Being British language will be no problem, well unless you get one of those cab drivers with a Cockney accent that you can't understand. U.S. dollar is the currency so no worries about trying to figure out the exchange rate. No dealing with Pounds, Quids and Pence. Although there is that driving on the wrong side of the road thing. The British Virgin Islands a quite hilly which is quite a contrast to say the Bahamas or Cayman Islands.
The two main islands are Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Little Dix bay on Virgin Gorda is rated among the top 10 beach resorts in the world. Tortola is the largest in the BVI chain of islands, most populated and as a result the hub of activity. Of course there's Neckar Island, Richard Branson's private island which you can rent for $53,000 a night.
